Psychological services are not covered by OHIP. Many employee extended health benefit plans, however, provide coverage for the services of a registered psychologist or psychological associate. Clients should evaluate their own extended health benefit plans in order to determine their level of available coverage.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
Recommended questions for your insurance provider to help determine your benefits include:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Our fees are set according to guidelines outlined by the Ontario Psychological Association. Receipts will be provided that include Kelly's registration number with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
Payment
We accept cash, debit, e transfers, and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments that are missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged the full fee for the time scheduled.
